  • → Wash in cold water — heat is the biggest UPF killer
  • → Air dry in shade rather than tumble drying
  • → Avoid fabric softeners — they clog moisture-wicking pores
  • → Turn garments inside out to protect UV-blocking weave
  • → Replace heavily washed outdoor garments every 2–3 seasons
