📖 What is UPF?
UPF (Ultraviolet Protection Factor) measures how much UV radiation a fabric blocks. UPF 50 blocks 98% of rays, while UPF 15 blocks only 93%. Unlike SPF (for sunscreen), UPF applies to both UVA and UVB rays. Always look for garments certified to the ASTM D6544 standard for reliable protection.
